BIRTH CHARTS & NATAL REPORTS

"What is a birth chart?" you may be asking.  Well, it's basically a chart cast for the date, time and location of your birth.  It's a map of the heavens that shows the exact location of the sun, moon, and planets.  This is what the chart looks like...

The Earth would be in the center of the chart and the bold horizontal line to the left shows the sign that was rising over the eastern horizon at the time of birth - in this case the sign of Scorpio was making it's way up.

The location of all the planets, the sun, and the moon are represented in this chart according to how we would see them from earth.  In astrology, the earth is the center of the universe for chart purposes.

The chart is also divided into sections called houses.  These houses represent a different area of life, such as the self, material possessions, communications, family, romance, etc.  Each house has a zodiac sign on the cusp, or door, of it that influences how these areas will play out.  The different energy combinations create different types of people.  Someone with Gemini on the cusp of the 3rd house may be way more talkative than someone with Capricorn there.  Add a planet into a house and you get even more information.  Having Mars in the 9th house can drive someone to the pursuit of higher education, adventure, and world travel.  Mars also represents competition, where we assert ourselves, where we have courage, and where we fight for what we believe in or want.  Mars being in Leo adds a dramatic flair to this and grand gestures - Leo is a sign that loves the spot light.  It's also a creative and generous sign.  The 9th house also rules, philosophy, art, religion, music, publishing, and sociology.

Once you locate all the planets by sign and house you can begin to interpret them into a NATAL REPORT for a fun and eye-opening look at yourself.  You will begin to understand more deeply your behavior and patterns.  You'll see how the planetary alignment effected you on the day you were born and how they continue to have an effect on you now.
